Press Operator
Basic Function
Responsible for the set up and operation of production department presses.
Responsibilities
- Sets up stamping and forming press dies so that the manufactured parts conform to customer specifications.
- Operates stamping press.
- Measures first article for conformance to specification.
- Measures and records key characteristics.
- Maintains components of all processes.
- Collects and records necessary data.
- Keeps work area clean & free of debris.
- Complies with company policies & procedures giving special attention to safety regulations.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
