We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Receiving Clerk to support our warehouse operations. This part-time role is crucial in ensuring the smooth and accurate handling of incoming deliveries and documentation. The ideal candidate will be proactive, dependable, and capable of effectively coordinating with delivery drivers, internal teams, and temporary labor as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain all receiving-related paperwork accurately and efficiently.

• Schedule inbound freight deliveries and communicate dock assignments to drivers upon arrival.

• Greet and direct delivery drivers to the appropriate doors or bays.

• Print purchase orders (POs) and ensure all incoming deliveries align with documentation.

• Identify and communicate any discrepancies to the purchasing department promptly via email.

• Monitor PO overages and follow up with the purchasing team as needed.

• Coordinate temporary labor for container unloading and report labor hours accurately.

• Index and file all receiving paperwork in an organized and timely manner.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a warehouse or receiving role preferred.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Basic computer proficiency (email, printing, and data entry).

• Ability to communicate effectively with drivers and internal departments.

• Dependability and punctuality in a fast-paced environment.
