Senior Tax Accountant (Family Office) - New York
Blackden Consulting is partnering with a New York-based investment management firm to hire a Senior Tax Accountant into a key role spanning the firm’s management company, investment structures and the family office, with a focus on tax reporting, compliance and entity-level flow of information.
This is a key hire for someone who can operate across a complex structure, owning tax reporting and compliance across partnership, corporate and cross-border matters.
The role
● In-house tax work across the investment manager and related entities
● Tax filings and reporting, including K-1s
● Foreign partner reporting, including Forms 8804, 8805 and 8813
● Exposure to Forms 8865 and 5471
● Involvement in transfer pricing, allocations and carry
● Supporting the flow of tax information up to management entities and the wider family office
We are open to candidates from public accounting, fund tax, partnership tax, in-house tax or family office tax. Strong tax compliance experience, good commercial judgement, and the ability to get to grips with a sophisticated structure quickly.
