Job Title: Autobody Painter
Location: Belle Mead, NJ 08502
Job Type: Full-Time
About Us:
We are a busy, well-established auto body shop committed to high-quality repairs and customer satisfaction. We’re looking for a skilled Autobody Painter who takes pride in their craftsmanship and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare vehicle surfaces for painting (sanding, masking, priming)
- Mix and match paint colors to manufacturer specifications
- Apply paint using spray equipment and other tools
- Inspect finished work for quality and accuracy
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Collaborate with technicians and estimators to meet deadlines
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an autobody painter or similar role
- Knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and equipment
- Ability to color match and blend paint seamlessly
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications:
- I-CAR or ASE certification
- Experience with waterborne paint systems
