Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Enterprise Systems Architect to lead the design, configuration, standardization, and maintenance of our global IT infrastructure. This role will focus on creating a unified network and enterprise systems environment that spans across our offices in the US and Asia. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills with expertise working with UniFi and SonicWall equipment, Microsoft Platform, SaaS services such as, Box, Sophos, Atera, and cross-platform end-user management.
The role will require hands-on technical skills, strategic planning abilities, and a passion for creating a standardized, scalable IT environment to support the global business. While experience with Managed Service Providers (MSPs) is a plus, it is not required.
Key Responsibilities
Design, configure, and maintain network infrastructure using UniFi and SonicWall equipment.
Ensure secure and reliable connectivity for small offices across international sites.
Troubleshoot and monitor network performance issues and optimize the environment for scalability.
Oversee and standardize SaaS platforms including Microsoft Entra ID, Box, and Sophos.
Deploy and manage RMM solutions such as Atera to oversee global IT assets.
Provide hands-on support and expertise for conferencing hardware and collaboration tools.
Leverage scripting to streamline system provisioning, software deployments, patching and configuration compliance.
Provide escalation support for complex IT issues globally.
Ensure compliance with security and data protection standards across all regions.
Implement cross-platform workstation standardization (Windows and MacOS): Naming convention, application configurations, hardware specifications, etc.
Develop and enforce policies for global device management and configuration.
Standardization and Administration Management:
Design and implement a common IT infrastructure and SaaS platform strategy across small offices globally.
Develop documentation and best practices for IT processes and standards.
Coordinate with local teams to align regional IT systems with global standards.
Partner with internal teams and external vendors to identify and implement cost-effective IT solutions.
Evaluate new technologies and recommend improvements to the global IT environment.
Serve as the subject matter expert for enterprise systems and infrastructure.
Requirements
~ Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience designing and maintaining IT networks and enterprise systems.
Proficiency with UniFi, SonicWall, and conferencing hardware (Logitech/Poly).
Top-tier administrator access managing the Microsoft platform, SaaS services such as Box, Sophos, and RMM/MDM solutions (e.g., Intune, Atera, Jamf).
Experience managing IT infrastructure across multiple international sites is a plus.
Advanced knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, and security principles.
Strong proficiency in PowerShell scripting to automate and manage tasks within Microsoft environments.
Strong interpersonal skills to contribute to team growth, through coaching, documentation and training.
Familiarity with IT governance and compliance standards.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment and manage multiple priorities.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
