The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.
Job Overview:
Provides individual, family and group psychotherapy. Provides supervision to staff and students according to guidelines of institution and licensure standards. Ensures compliance with documentation standards. Develops treatment plan with client system and multidisciplinary team. Is responsible for reporting identified safety issues such as hazardous environments (i.e. damaged floors/walls/ceiling tiles/unsecured areas) and medical errors, etc
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Social Work.
- LCSW issued by the N.J. State Board of Social Work Examiners.
- Three to five years experience. Two years clinical experience Post-Masters required.
- Minimum two years related Social Work experience in order to supervise (in addition to internship) required.

Essential Functions:
- Assists with the implementation of the budget, annual reports and application for any grants.
- Collaborates and coordinates with outside organizations and programs to provide health services to educate the community at large and serve the community.
- Demonstrates knowledge and use of community resources and governmental programs available from local, County, State and National agencies, including expertise in accessing these for patients and families.
- Develops goals and treatment plan with client system in conjunction with other team members (LSW under supervision of LCSW).
- Develops, implements and facilitates support groups.
- Facilities resolutions through the PI/QA process.
- Performs initial and ongoing Psychosocial Assessment.
- Performs crisis assessment, provides intervention within license guidelines and facilitates steps toward resolution.
- Provides appropriate and timely information and referrals to clients based on assessment.
- Provides individual, group and family psychotherapy (LSW under supervision of LCSW). Documents same within appropriate time frame and in accordance with regulatory compliance specific to area.
- Remains active in professional growth and development. This may include literature review, seminars, professional affiliations, peer supervision and compliance with social work licensure educational mandates.
