The Community Engagement Coordinator plays a vital role in fostering strong connections between local residents and nonprofit organizations. This position involves coordinating community-focused events and initiatives designed to enhance involvement and support within the community. Working as part of a small team, the Coordinator helps to organize fundraising events, workshops, seminars, and public forums to create meaningful engagement opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate volunteers to support community events and initiatives
- Collect and analyze data related to community engagement efforts
- Organize fundraising events, workshops, seminars, and public forums
- Facilitate communication between local residents and nonprofit organizations
- Collaborate with team members to improve outreach strategies
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in community engagement
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Social Sciences, or a related field
- Experience in community outreach initiatives
- Proficiency in data analysis to support engagement activities
