Our client is seeking an experienced Controller to lead all
accounting and finance functions for a lower middle -market company serving the
entertainment industry. This is a hands -on leadership role responsible for
financial reporting, cash management, budgeting, compliance, and internal
controls, while partnering closely with ownership and department leaders to
support strategic decision -making.

Responsibilities
<\/p>

• Oversee all accounting operations including general
ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, inventory, commissions,
and cash management
<\/p>

• Prepare and deliver monthly financial statements, KPI
reports, and variance analysis to ownership and lenders
<\/p>

• Manage cash forecasting, revolver borrowing, and lender
reporting requirements
<\/p>

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and expense control in
partnership with Sales and Operations
<\/p>

• Oversee year -end financial review with external CPA firm
and support lender field exams
<\/p>

• Manage tax compliance, filings, payments, and coordination
with CPAs
<\/p>

• Maintain strong internal controls to protect assets,
ensure accuracy, and prevent fraud
<\/p>

• Oversee payroll processing, HR coordination, benefits
administration, and commission plans
<\/p>

• Support department leaders with financial insights,
reporting, and operational understanding
<\/p>

• Play a key role in future ERP system implementation and
systems improvement initiatives
<\/p>

<\/p>

Qualifications
<\/p>

• 5–10 years of experience in accounting or finance
leadership
<\/p>

• MBA in Accounting or Finance and/or CPA preferred
<\/p>

• Experience in product, manufacturing, rental, or
distribution environments
<\/p>

• Strong cost accounting background (required)
<\/p>

• Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel
<\/p>

• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication
skills
<\/p>

• Ability to work closely with ownership and be deeply
involved in day -to -day operations
<\/p>
