Sr Costing Engineer

Your main responsibilities

Manage product cost structure development & product cost determination at the component level, conduct analysis of bills of material & verification for manufactured / assembled components. Responsible to build and maintain costing process competence from design to manufacturing and manage actions for costing opportunities and business case realization.

Primary duties and responsibilities will include the following:

• Cost estimates/comparison for product manufactured and purchased by supply chain (20%).
• Evaluation cost estimate targets through the design and development process and recommending cost-effective solutions (should costing and benchmarking) (30%).
• Investigation of cost reduction opportunities through cost analysis review and take actions to implement initiatives (cost-out and project management) (30%).
• Costing and configuration support for highly relevant projects, including new product launch and existing product change management. (20%).

What you bring

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineerin g or other closely related field of study ; plus 60 months (5 years) of experience in the offered position or other closely related positions. Experiences may be concurrent.

Base Salary $119,642 - $170,100

The above represents the typical salary range for this position. Revisions to the range may be considered based on your experience, education, location, demonstrated skills, and alignment with business priorities. Please note that the compensation listed reflects only base salary and does not include variable incentives or benefits.
