Wire Transfer Processor
- Processes all wire activity and other department related activities.
- Adheres to all security and risk control procedures related to wire transfers.
- Complies with all regulations and compliance issues when processing wire transfers, to include, but not limited to: OFAC FINCEN, UCC4A, Reg J, and the Patriot Act.
- Performs the daily proof for all wire activity.
- Assists in the reconciliation of wire inquiries regarding customer accounts and performs investigations and adjustments accordingly.
- Assists with the testing of new releases, disaster recovery and testing with the Federal Reserve Bank.
- Performs corrections to items on the repair queue to ensure wires are posted accurately and timely.
- Ensures all incoming and outgoing wire transfers are processed.
- Prepares journal entries as directed.
- Understands compliance with all regulations governing the banking industry, as well as agency guidelines and organization policies.
- Prepares and enters wire room investigations.
- Understands the compliance requirements for Deposit Operations to ensure files are maintained in accordance with regulations.
