Job Title: Line Mechanic
Job Description

The Line Mechanic is responsible for providing assistance to aerosol manufacturing production lines and performing maintenance on machines and equipment. This role requires compliance with established job safety practices, policies, and procedures as specified in plant and corporate directives to ensure safe performance of work assignments. A clear understanding of cGMP compliance as it impacts production requirements is essential. The Line Mechanic must be familiar with repair, preventative maintenance, and daily support of filling equipment, with a specific focus on filling, crimping, aerosolizing, capping, and packaging of aerosol products. Ensuring product changeovers are done according to SOP and work order requirements is also critical.

Responsibilities

• Assist in aerosol manufacturing production lines.
• Perform maintenance on machines and equipment.
• Comply with established job safety practices, policies, and procedures.
• Understand and apply cGMP compliance as it impacts production requirements.
• Conduct repair, preventative maintenance, and daily support of filling equipment.
• Focus on filling, crimping, aerosolizing, capping, and packaging of aerosol products.
• Ensure product changeovers are completed according to SOP and work order requirements.

• Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Experience in maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in preventive maintenance.
• Familiarity with schematics and mechanical systems.

• Experience with 1st and 2nd shifts.
• Entry-level candidates are welcome.
• Technical school experience is acceptable.

Work Environment

The work environment involves working with advanced filling equipment and machinery in a dynamic aerosol production setting. Employees are expected to adhere to safety practices and procedures. The position involves working in shifts, with both 1st and 2nd shifts available. The dress code aligns with safety and operational standards.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Branchburg, NJ.

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
