Registered Nurse

Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to support individuals undergoing treatment for substance use disorders. The RN plays a key role in assessment, care planning, crisis intervention, and ensuring high quality, client centered care in a therapeutic environment.

• BSN preferred.
• Valid NJ RN license and CPR certification.
• Minimum 5 years of nursing experience, ideally in behavioral health or substance use treatment.
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
• Proficient in electronic health records and health information systems.
• Team-oriented, compassionate, and client focused.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete nursing assessments and ongoing client evaluations.
• Oversee and support Medication Technicians, ensuring proper medication processes and documentation.
• Maintain emergency kits and medication carts per regulatory standards.
• Monitor and document clients’ physical and emotional health; report significant changes.
• Educate clients and families on treatment, medications, and recovery strategies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members and participate in care planning meetings.
• Provide crisis intervention during withdrawal or emotional distress.
• Maintain accurate, confidential records in alignment with HIPAA and agency protocols.
• Promote a safe environment by following infection control and safety practices.

Salary & Schedule

• $70,000 - $85,000
• Monday - Friday 7:30am - 3:30 with Rotating On Call Responsibilities.
