• Prepare our Pre-Kindergarteners for the structured learning environment of a Kindergarten classroom through guided instruction and child-led exploration.
• Build lesson plans that support our STREAM-based curriculum.
• Create relationships with parents and provide support through daily interactions and communication.
• Uphold the rules and regulations of Lightbridge Academy and governmental regulatory agencies about children's care, health, and safety.
• Coach and mentor assistant teachers to develop a strong classroom teaching team.

Skills, Abilities, and Experience we are looking for:

• 1-2 years of prior experience in childcare
• Post-Secondary school degree
• Organization, time management, and multi-tasking skills
• Oral and written communication skills
