Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician in Summit, NJ

Summit is minutes away from both Newark and New York City for those seeking professional or cultural opportunities nearby. We are hiring pediatric emergency medicine physicians (PEM, ABP-PEM), and pediatricians (ABP/AOBP) with emergency medicine experience, and we welcome the opportunity to help you secure this job opportunity!
Position Profile:- Separate pediatric emergency department with easy inpatient access
- 1099 independent contractor status
- EMR: Epic
- PED Annual Volume: 14,000
- 8 pediatric ED beds
- 24-hour pediatric EM physician coverage per day
- 12-hour clinical shift times are 7am-7pm and 7pm-7am
- 12 hours of pediatric advanced practice clinician coverage per day
- Designated pediatric nursing team trained in pediatric care and certified in pediatric advanced life support
- Excellent pediatric specialty support
- Should be comfortable with airway management and conscious sedation
