At BASECK Training, we believe in making fitness accessible and convenient for everyone, including busy parents. We are a boutique fitness studio that offers a personalized approach to health and wellness. Our mission is to provide a supportive and welcoming environment where our members can achieve their fitness goalswhile knowing their children are cared for in a safe, fun, and engaging space. We are currently looking for a friendly, reliable, and compassionate Child Watch Attendant to join our team. Job Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive, age-appropriate care for children while parents participate in fitness classes or activities.
- Supervise children in a safe, fun, and engaging environment.
- Set up and organize toys, games, and activities to ensure an enjoyable experience for children.
- Maintain a clean and organized child watch area, ensuring it meets health and safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with parents and staff to address any concerns regarding the children in your care.
- Enforce studio policies regarding child watch, ensuring a safe and structured environment.
- Respond calmly and professionally to any emergencies or issues that may arise.
- Experience working with children in a daycare, babysitting, or related role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage the needs of multiple children at once.
- Patience, kindness, and a genuine passion for working with children.
- First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Ability to maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent (some college preferred).
- A background in early childhood education is a plus but not required.
- Flexible hours to fit your schedule (morning and afternoon shifts available).
