Responsible for managing and growing product categories within our portfolio. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute product strategies, drive product innovation, and achieve revenue and profitability goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the market, customer needs, and a competitive landscape to drive product success.
Product Line Management Responsibilities:
· Develop and execute compound product strategies to drive growth and profitability for the assigned product lines
· Grow and excel strategic supplier relationships to create growth opportunities
· Create Application Development brand awareness with our suppliers to ensure they understand the strategy
· Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape
· Define product positioning, pricing, and go-to-market strategies in collaboration with sales, and marketing, teams
· Monitor and analyze product performance, market trends, and competitive landscape to make data-driven decisions
and drive continuous improvement
· Drive product innovation and differentiation by identifying new opportunities, conducting market research, and developing new
product concepts
· Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, sales teams, and internal teams, to drive product success
and achieve business objectives
· Responsible for timely RFQ’s and pricing to sales team
· Build an in-depth knowledge of compounding market and product lines
· Lead continuous improvement projects through assessment and evaluations of processes and to build knowledge
· Develop and manage product roadmaps, timelines and budgets
Requirements:· Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field
· Plastics industry knowledge and experience required
· Prior experience working with compounders a plus
· 3 to 5 years of experience in product management
· 3 to 5 years’ experience in field territory sales
· Proven track record of managing and growing product lines, driving revenue growth, and achieving business objectives
· Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive
landscape
· Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and build strong relationships with
internal and external stakeholders
· Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines
· Strong negotiation and presentation skills
· Knowledge of product development processes, marketing strategies, and go-to-market strategies
· Value price mindset
· 25-30% travel
· ERP/CRM experience strong plus
· Salesforce experience a strong plus
