Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract occupational therapy opportunity is based onsite in Newark, NJ, within a school setting serving PreK through 8th grade students. The position involves providing occupational therapy services for approximately 15 hours per week, supporting students who require therapeutic intervention to enhance their functional abilities and participation in the school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy evaluations, treatments, and progress monitoring tailored to school-aged children from PreK to 8th grade.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in collaboration with educational staff and families.
• Support students in improving fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities relevant to academic success.
• Document services and provide reports consistent with educational requirements.
• Participate in team meetings as needed to coordinate care and accommodations.

Qualifications:

• Current occupational therapy license.
• Experience in school-based occupational therapy or working with pediatric populations in educational settings.
• Knowledge of school-based service delivery models and IDEA regulations.
• Ability to work onsite in Newark, NJ.
• Flexibility to cover leave positions on a part-time basis (15 hours/week).
