Elementary School Teacher

Metuchen Christian Academy has been an excellent role model of education for over 30 years, offering a solid, excellent, traditional elementary education to all who enroll in our educational facility. We are grateful for the opportunity to serve each of our Academy’s families.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education is required
• The candidate must hold a valid teaching certificate.

Essential Duties and responsibilities:

• Implement curricula and activities to meet academic standards
• Design and implement assessments that measure progress towards academic standards.
• Use a multitude of instructional strategies that are academically rigorous and highly engaging.
• Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues.
• Demonstrate strong classroom management skills and follow the guidelines and policies stated in the MCA Faculty/Staff Handbook.
