Food Manufacturing Materials Flow Specialist (SAP/GMP)

Schedule: Monday–Wednesday, 8:00 AM–8:30 PM
Starting Pay: $21.87 per hour

From the first truck arriving at the dock to the last pallet shipped, you keep the heartbeat of our bakery moving. As the go-to Materials Flow Specialist, you’ll make sure ingredients, packaging, and finished goods are exactly where they need to be—safely, accurately, and on time. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you’ll be central to production success in a fast-paced, food-safe environment.

A day in your role

You begin by reviewing shop orders and staging raw materials, then transition to loading and unloading with a reach truck or forklift. You confirm counts, quality, and condition; print and apply allergen and SAP labels; and record every movement in SAP and the Bridor Paperless System. Dry, refrigerated, allergen, and non-allergen items each find their proper home through your careful organization and commitment to GMP standards. You wrap up by assisting with returns from production, supporting inventory audits, and leaving every area clean and compliant.

What you’ll make happen

• Follow all safety policies and procedures—every task, every time.
• Stage ingredients and packaging precisely to production shop orders.
• Operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and related equipment to move, load, unload, and store materials.
• Execute shipping and receiving for inbound and outbound goods.
• Verify quality, condition, and quantities to support production requirements.
• Receive and document raw materials using the Bridor Paperless System and SAP.
• Label accurately, including allergen and SAP labels, to maintain traceability.
• Store dry, refrigerated, allergen, and non-allergen ingredients per food safety rules.
• Process and document materials returned from production.
• Perform inventory transactions and stock movements within SAP.
• Support month-end and year-end inventory counts and audits.
• Keep work and storage areas clean, organized, and GMP-compliant.
• Participate in training (GMP, HACCP, SAP, and other operational systems).
• Assist with onboarding and training new teammates as needed.
• Immediately communicate food safety, quality, or inventory concerns.
• Take on additional duties as assigned.

What you bring

• Experience in warehouse, manufacturing, food production, or distribution.
• At least 2 years of forklift operation and required reach truck experience.
• Background in food manufacturing preferred.
• Comfort with basic computers and willingness to learn SAP/WMS.
• Detail focus with high standards for safety, quality, and accuracy.
• Thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
• Physically able to lift, move, and handle materials safely throughout the shift.
• Clear communicator and reliable team player.
