Automotive Sales Consultant

Wayne Subaru is seeking qualified automotive sales professionals to become part of our team. Previous Subaru and auto sales experience is preferred, but is not necessary.

Sales Consultants:

You will be expected to follow the steps and direction necessary to obtain the sale. The same effort is expected and required when conducting business on a daily basis. We are looking for someone who can bring their skills, positivity, and work well with others under stressful conditions.


For a Wayne Subaru Sales Specialist, product knowledge, a friendly disposition, and enthusiasm for the Subaru Product are key. We require a dynamic team player who is willing to put in the effort and reap the rewards.

Responsibilities:

• Daily Call & Email follow-up requirements - numbers set by management.
• Greet customers in the showroom, on the phone, and online.
• Prospect for new customers and leads.
• Professional phone, proofreading, speech, and grammar skills for texting and email correspondence.
• Possess the ability to build rapport with and gather relevant information from our customers.
• Use your skill set when assisting customers in selecting a vehicle in stock .
• Ask pertinent questions and LISTEN .
• Build and develop product knowledge to be a Subaru expert, including the latest models, trim levels, options, etc.
• Demonstrate product knowledge on all new/used vehicles in inventory and be aware of what is available .
• Follow-up with customers to establish a constant flow of new, referral, and repeat business.

Qualifications:

• Automotive Sales Experience, preferably Subaru experience.
• Be comfortable working with computers and tablets.
• Be available for required hours during the week and on Saturdays.
• Bring a positive attitude to work every day.
• Work well with others.
• Be ready and eager to embrace and stay up to date with the latest Subaru product line.
• Communicate effectively with customers, management, and other Wayne Subaru family members.
• Consistent and professional appearance in keeping with Wayne Subaru's required dress code.
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license.
