Assistant Shipping Supervisor

  Overview:

We are looking to fulfill our need for an Assistant Shipping Supervisor at our Teterboro, NJ facility.

Full-time position: Hours 7 am - 3:30 pm (Monday - Friday) Overtime as needed and approved.

Applicants from NJ with their own reliable transportation preferred.

Requirements

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):

• Must be hands-on. This is not an office position.
• Responsible for safely loading windows and/or glass products onto trucks.
• Able to use a power jack.
• Assist with all shipping, logistics and floor space management.
• Acquire a detailed understanding of the shipping requirements for NAS.
• Assist in quarterly physical inventory counts of finished goods.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Able to work in extreme temperatures.
• Other activities may be assigned by the Shipping Supervisor and/or management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience in a shipping/loading position
• The ability to lift 75+ lbs. repeatedly
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) - A Must
• Able to operate a forklift a plus (willing to train)
• Computer literate and working knowledge of MS Office
• Apply health and safety practices
• Prior window industry experience a plus
