Job Details Salary: From $30-$37 per hour Paying: 1.5 Time rate on all Honda Warranty Rate Job Type: Full Time Location: Phillipsburg, NJ 08865 Position Overview We are seeking an Experienced Honda or Acura A Level Service Technician with a minimum of five years of experience. This role focuses on providing high-quality vehicle diagnostics and repairs while maintaining excellent customer service. Primary Responsibilities Accurately diagnose and troubleshoot customer vehicle concerns using up-to-date administrative and technical tools. Greet customers courteously and assist as a secondary customer greeter in the Service Drive area. Stay current with technical publications, Service Comm, and Asist terminal operations. Perform services safely and correctly the first time, ensuring customer satisfaction. Address all original customer concerns before recommending additional services. Inspect vehicles for maintenance needs and sales opportunities based on local and factory guidelines. Return customers' vehicles clean or cleaner than when received. Participate in factory and in-house training programs to enhance skills. Complete all paperwork accurately and attach required shop forms to repair orders. Perform other duties as assigned by Service Manager, Assistant Service Manager, or Group Leader. Arrive on time, ready to work, and maintain a clean uniform and professional appearance. Job Requirement:Qualifications Minimum of five years’ experience performing warranty and non-warranty inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on various vehicle makes and models. Proven ability to meet or exceed performance goals. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Professional appearance and strong work ethic. High-energy personality with a positive attitude. Ability to read and understand instructions clearly. Sound judgment in all work-related situations. Valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record. Education High school diploma or equivalent required. Technical aptitude demonstrated through ASE certification. Technical or trade school degree preferred.
