Job Summary:

The Leasing Professional is the first point of contact for prospective residents and is responsible for leasing apartment homes, providing excellent customer service, and supporting the overall property operations. This role plays a key part in maximizing occupancy, retaining residents, and ensuring the property presents a welcoming and professional appearance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet prospective residents, conduct property tours, and provide detailed information about available units, community amenities, pricing, and lease terms.
• Respond promptly to leasing inquiries via phone, email, and walk-ins.
• Guide applicants through the entire leasing process: from application to move-in.
• Accurately complete lease agreements and related paperwork in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
• Follow up with prospects and leads using a customer relationship management (CRM) system to maximize conversion rates.
• Maintain knowledge of market conditions, competitor properties, and current trends to effectively position the property.
• Assist with marketing efforts including social media posts, promotional events, and outreach initiatives.
• Participate in resident retention programs, renewal efforts, and community engagement activities.
• Ensure model units and tour paths are clean, staged, and show-ready at all times.
• Report maintenance issues or concerns to the appropriate team members and follow up on service requests when necessary.
• In some states may need to obtain a Real Estate License.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or relevant coursework in business or real estate preferred.
• 1+ year of leasing, sales, or customer service experience (property management experience preferred).
• Excellent communication, sales, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with leasing or CRM software (e.g., Yardi) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work weekends and a flexible schedule, including holidays, as needed.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to walk the property, tour units (including stairs), and remain on your feet for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally (e.g., marketing materials, move-in supplies).
