Senior Cloud Product Delivery Manager

Onsite - Jersey City, NJ

6+ Months

Rate: $75 - $80/hr on W2

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Cloud Product Delivery Manager to lead the successful delivery of complex, large-scale cloud initiatives. This role demands strong leadership across multiple, disparate teams and projects -often running concurrently-while ensuring seamless integration and alignment with our strategic goals.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with major cloud providers (Azure, AWS, GCP), with Azure expertise being a strong advantage. A background in financial services (FS) is also highly desirable, given the regulatory, security, and compliance considerations of our environment.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Delivery Leadership
  • Own and drive the successful delivery of complex cloud-based products and services from inception to launch, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines.
  • Lead multiple, cross-functional delivery streams involving engineering, architecture, product management, and operations.
• Strategic Planning & Execution
  • Develop and manage detailed delivery plans, identifying dependencies, risks, and mitigation strategies across multi-cloud environments.
  • Ensure delivery meets agreed performance, scalability, security, and compliance standards.
• Stakeholder Engagement
  • Act as the senior point of contact for business, technology, and external stakeholders.
  • Manage communications, reporting, and expectations across senior leadership and delivery teams.
• Team Management & Leadership
  • Coordinate work across geographically dispersed teams, ensuring strong collaboration and alignment.
  • Foster a culture of delivery excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Cloud Delivery Expertise
  • Apply deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid, reliable deployments.
  • Guide teams on leveraging the capabilities of major cloud providers (Azure, AWS, GCP), with a particular focus on Azure when applicable.
• Risk & Compliance
  • Ensure solutions meet relevant regulatory, security, and governance requirements-especially in financial services contexts.

Skills & Experience Required

• Proven track record in delivering large-scale, complex technology products in multi-cloud or hybrid-cloud environments.
• Strong experience managing disparate teams and concurrent projects across geographies.
• Solid working knowledge of major cloud providers (Azure, AWS, GCP), with Azure expertise highly advantageous.
• Financial services industry experience strongly preferred, with a good understanding of associated security, compliance, and governance requirements.
• Deep understanding of agile and hybrid delivery methodologies, with the ability to adapt processes to suit project needs.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, including experience working with C-suite and senior leadership.
• Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines.
• Strong commercial awareness and the ability to balance cost, risk, and business value.

Desirable Qualifications

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or equivalent cloud certifications.
• PRINCE2, PMP, or Agile certifications (Scrum Master, SAFe, etc.).
• Experience in regulated industries beyond FS (e.g., healthcare, government).
