The Supervising Pharmacist leads a small pharmacy team while ensuring safe and efficient medication management. This role emphasizes regulatory compliance, inventory control, and limited patient counseling, primarily using a Pharmacy Management System to support day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate is a licensed pharmacist with strong leadership skills and experience in a pharmacy setting.
Responsibilities
- Oversee medication dispensing and storage to ensure accuracy and safety
- Supervise and guide a small team of 1-5 pharmacy staff
- Ensure compliance with all relevant pharmacy laws and regulations
- Manage pharmacy inventory and ordering processes
- Provide limited patient counseling as needed
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize medication use
- Utilize Pharmacy Management System for daily operations and record keeping
Required Qualifications
- PharmD degree
- Registered Pharmacist License
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a pharmacy setting
