Technical Program Manager IAM (Remote, US)
We are seeking a Technical Program Manager with strong Identity and Access Management (IAM) expertise to drive strategic, cross-functional programs focused on securing and optimizing workforce, partner, and service access. This role will lead the roadmap, delivery, and operational cadence for initiatives across identity lifecycle automation, SSO/federation, privileged access management (PAM), and governance. The ideal candidate is both a strategic leader and hands-on program driver who can align engineering, security, IT, and business teams to deliver measurable outcomes.
This is a 6-month contract (extensions possible), 40-hour-per-week, remote role in the US.
This is a W-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee. Health benefits and 401K are offered.
Responsibilities:
- Build and execute multi-quarter IAM program roadmaps from strategic planning through launch and operations.
- Drive projects across join/move/leave lifecycle automation, SSO/federation, MFA, RBAC, PAM, IGA (access reviews, segregation of duties), and directory consolidation.
- Partner with Security and GRC to integrate audit-ready controls aligned with SOX, ISO 27001, HIPAA, FedRAMP, and other frameworks.
- Promote data accuracy and authoritative identity sources across HRIS, ITSM, CMDB, and application catalogs.
- Align executives and technical stakeholders on priorities, trade-offs, and timelines.
- Deliver structured, data-informed updates tailored for business and engineering audiences.
- Facilitate rapid decision-making, surfacing options and recommendations with context.
- Define and track key IAM KPIs and OKRs (e.g., provisioning SLAs, access review completion, PAM coverage).
- Support backlog grooming, sprint planning, demos, retrospectives, and agile best practices across the IAM program.
Requirements:
- 5+ years managing complex technical programs, including 3+ years of experience managing in IAM, cybersecurity, or infrastructure delivery programs.
- Technical proficiency with IAM technologies and protocols: Okta, Azure AD/Microsoft Entra, SailPoint/Saviynt, CyberArk/BeyondTrust, SCIM, SAML, OIDC, OAuth, LDAP.
- Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale IAM initiatives from planning to operationalization.
- Skilled in decomposing complex problems, driving cross-functional execution, and proactively mitigating risks.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence both executives and technical teams.
- Experience in high-growth or post-M&A environments, including domain migrations and identity consolidations.
- Knowledge of Zero Trust principles and just-in-time access models.
- Familiarity with data engineering fundamentals (APIs, event buses, ETL) supporting identity pipelines.
- Certifications such as CISM, CISSP, CIPM, PMP, CSM, or vendor-specific IAM credentials (Okta, Azure AD) are preferred.
