Treasury Analyst

The opportunity
This role is responsible for the planning and execution of day-to-day and period-end Treasury activities including managing the entities’ cash flow forecast, identifying cost-saving and profit maximizing opportunities and ensuring compliance with company, department, and audit standards to maximize the protection of the company’s cash assets. Manages all banking needs including signing authorities and authorizations. The responsibilities of this position are diversified and require knowledge of the treasury operations including adapting new technologies including artificial intelligence.
Key Responsibilities
- Review, approve and release electronic disbursements
- Coordinate Compliance from Global EY Member Firms (MFs)
- Coordinate Compliance to Banks and Note Holders
- Calendar -post up the expected activity for the following month and perform weekly updates
- Oversee Global Treasury Tool (GTT). Communication with MF’s, monthly reporting
- Supervise maintenance and update signatories on every global bank account
- Oversee the monthly reconciliation of all company bank accounts
- Review and approval of ACH and wire payments
- EY Global Finance Tax Payments- Federal, NY, NYC, NJ, Insurance, Delaware
- Daily cash positioning and reporting
- Track cash investment activities
- Troubleshoot daily transaction issues
- Prepare, review, and maintain SOX compliance within the department; ensure proper controls exist over cash receipts, disbursements, and general Treasury activities
- Perform periodic cost review of bank and armored carrier fees
- Review and negotiate Treasury contracts with banks and armored carriers
- Identify and recommend process improvements
- Responsible for prompt processing and banking of cash receipts. Manage the movement of funds between accounts, assuring adequate balances
- Monitor daily borrowing with the firm's lending institution. Maintain interest rate, principal, and maturity information
- Independence Questionnaires
- Ad Hoc Independence BRIDGE issues
- Review bank changes monthly and negotiate price reductions and/or errors.
- Coordinate annual Audit
- Support special projects and acquisitions as assigned
Analytical/Decision Making Responsibilities
Will oversee daily cash transactions, wire transfers, investments and manage revolving credit debt. Coordinate year end cash activity. Maintain bank relationships. Key contact for all cash and banking related issues. Prepare or review all treasury banking related transactions. Manage the netting and pooling operations for Global entities. Recommend internal rates for foreign currency and lending activities and prepare associated analysis.
Knowledge & Skills Qualifications
- 2-3 plus years of progressive Treasury, finance, accounting, or related experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience
- Demonstrated leadership skills.
- Advanced analytical skills, and an ability to apply sound business judgment to individual and team assignments.
- Ability to understand communications, announcements, and other change management initiatives, and relate these to the core Treasury procedures. Skilled at incorporating these changes into the accounting policies and procedures.
- Comfortable with taking a positive attitude and approach, willingly accepting new challenges, and adapting flexibly to change.
- Proven commitment to delivering quality work.
- Strong communication, analytical and organizational skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Knowledge of banking and electronic payment systems
- Knowledge of Treasury Operations Systems, such as Integrity

Education
A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience
Experience
Approximately 2-3 plus years of bank and/or corporate treasury experience
Certification Requirements
Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) preferred

The compensation ranges below are provided in order to comply with United States pay transparency laws. Other geographies will follow their local salary guidelines, which may not be a direct conversion of published US salary ranges. We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The salary range for this job in most geographic locations in the US is $54,200 to $98,400. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $65,000 to $111,800. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances. You’ll also be granted time off for designated EY Paid Holidays, Winter/Summer breaks, Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being.
