Compensation Range: $75-90/hr on W2 ONLY!
Job Description:
Lead data-driven improvements in chemical manufacturing processes using AI/ML and predictive analytics.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Analyze manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for efficiency gains and cost savings
- Develop and implement predictive models for material usage and production optimization
- Apply generative AI and LLMs for research and solution development
- Use Python, R, SQL, and REST APIs for data processing and model deployment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvement initiatives
- Own projects from ideation to execution, delivering measurable business impact
- Travel to the Newark, DE site initially weekly for onboarding, then monthly
Requirements:

Must-Haves:
- PhD in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related field
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in chemical manufacturing environments
- Strong industrial/process optimization and data analysis experience
- Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, REST APIs
- Experience with GenAI, LLMs (OpenAI, Meta, Google), RAG, Prompt Engineering
- Demonstrated ability to lead programs and communicate effectively
- Quick learner with a strong sense of ownership
