Mechanic

Summary
Perform Maintenance and Repairs on Vehicles, Tools, Equipment, and Property. Work Involves Diagnosing and Repairing Mechanical Issues, Servicing, Cleaning, and Conducting Routine Inspections; Ensuring all Vehicles, Tools, and Equipment Operate Efficiently and Safely.

Essential Functions

• Maintain, clean, and service all tools and equipment
• Track and manage all vehicle documentation, including insurance and registration, on a monthly basis; promptly notify human resources of any updates, expirations, or discrepancies
• Verify that all vehicle inspections are completed and up to date (make sure all vehicles have current inspection stickers)
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on heavy equipment, including replacement of lights, door handles, and doors as needed
• Conduct regular service of company vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake replacements, and fluid checks/refills.
• Coordinate and transport vehicles for required inspection with notice to management
• Monitor and verify daily vehicle sign-in/out logs in coordination with human resources.
• Ensure work tickets are completed for all vehicles and equipment
• Preform pre- and post-trip inspections on delivery trucks and dump trucks
• Make any necessary repairs to maintain vehicle inspections
• Any other tasks as assigned by management

Required Education and Experience

• Experienced in Vehicle, Equipment, Tools, and Property Maintenance
• Skilled in Heavy Equipment Repairs and Preventive Maintenance
• Strong Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving Abilities
• Detail-Oriented
• Capable to Work Independently
