Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled CAD Designer/Manager to lead our design team in creating innovative and efficient designs for various projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design process, ensuring compliance with design standards, and managing project timelines while utilizing advanced CAD software to produce high-quality technical drawings and prototypes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the CAD design team in developing efficient and innovative designs.
• Utilize SolidWorks and AutoCAD for creating detailed 3D models and technical drawings.
• Oversee project management tasks, ensuring timely delivery of design projects.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure designs meet required specifications and standards.
• Conduct prototyping and testing of designs to validate performance and functionality.
• Maintain knowledge of current design trends, manufacturing processes, and industry standards.
• Provide mentorship and training to junior designers on best practices in CAD design and engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, Industrial Design, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a CAD Designer or Manager, with a strong portfolio of successful projects.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and other relevant design software.
• Strong skills in 3D modeling, drafting, and technical drawing.
• Experience in project management and ability to lead a team effectively.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and design standards.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
