ABOUT THE ROLE

This internship is for Summer 2026.

The Quality/ Process Intern at Cornerstone Building Brands offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience working on real quality initiatives and contribute to meaningful projects that drive Quality Assurance across the organization. Reporting directly to the Quality Manager.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Assist in the identification of process improvement opportunities through data analysis and stakeholder consultation
  • Support the documentation of current processes working on SOP revisions
  • Review/revise control plans
  • Develop training materials, Quality Visual Aids, Work Instructions.
  • Assist in Quality initiative deployment
  • Contribute to meaningful projects that drive quality assurance, process improvement, and reduction of Cost of Poor Quality (CoPQ).

Qualifications



WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • Currently enrolled in associate or bachelor’s degree program in a relevant discipline is required
  • Be at least a sophomore within your degree program
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy are required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio is required
  • Familiarity with Root Cause Analysis Methodologies, Fishbone Diagram, 4M’s, 5 Whys, and 8D’s is preferred.
