Certified Preschool Teacher
Summary Hours : 8:30am-3:30pm
Compensation : $57,922-$92,542 Stepping Stones Learning Institute is concentrated on establishing a positive preschool experience for young children. The intent is to create a dun, nurturing environment which allows children to accomplish tasks successfully to enrich confidence in their self-esteem and bolster a positive attitude towards learning.
The Preschool Teacher will instruct preschool-aged children in activities designed to promote social, physical, and intellectual growth needed for primary school. Candidates must have a P-3 (Preschool through Grade 3) certification, CE or CEAS and preschool teaching experience. Duties
- Know and understand child development and apply this knowledge in practice
- Observe and assess children’s behavior and use it to plan, as well as to individualize teaching practices and curriculum
- Establish and maintain a safe and healthy environment for children
- Plan and implement curriculum that advances all areas of children’s learning and development across social, emotional and cognitive domains
- Maintain positive relationships with children and families
- Support the development and learning of individual children
- Recognize that children are best understood in the context of family, culture and society
- Knowledge of Creative Curriculum and Teaching Strategies GOLD Assessment Platform helpful, but not required
- Must pass local and state background checks and health screening
- Must have P-3 certification, CE/CEAS and preschool teaching experience
- Knowledge and use of social media platforms is helpful for communication to families.
