DevOps Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a DevOps Engineer for a Contract job with a client in Princeton, NJ . This is an onsite role . Ideally looking for applicants with proven experience in DevOps engineering, strong expertise in Microsoft Azure cloud services, and proficiency in automation and containerization technologies.

Rate Range: $45/hour to $49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

DevOps Engineer job responsibilities include:

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps services (Boards, Repos, Pipelines, Test Plans, Artifacts).

• Deploy and manage applications on Microsoft Azure cloud services, including Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Data, and AKS.

• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or ARM Templates.

• Automate processes using scripting languages like PowerShell, Python, or Bash.

• Work with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile environments (Scrum or Kanban).

• Ensure system reliability, scalability, and security across cloud and DevOps solutions.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree.

• 8–10 years of experience in DevOps engineering or similar software engineering/IT operations roles.

• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud services.

• Expertise in Azure DevOps tools and CI/CD pipeline management.

• Strong understanding of IaC tools (Terraform, ARM Templates).

• Proficiency in scripting and automation languages.

• Familiarity with containerization and Kubernetes.

• Experience working within Agile methodologies.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Azure Data Factory.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $49.00 per hour
