Customer Service Representative

Staff Management Group is seeking a Customer Service Representative for our client in Linden, NJ. Please read the ENTIRE job description and ALL of the job requirements BEFORE applying for this position.

Schedule:

• 1st Shift: 8AM - 4:30PM
• Monday - Friday
• Plus overtime

Pay Rate:

• $22 / hour

Job Summary:

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Customer Service Representative with prior logistics experience to support daily operations through effective communication, accurate invoicing, and timely report management. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Respond to customer inquiries via email in a timely and professional manner
• Generate and complete container reports accurately
• Create, review, and send invoices to accounts as scheduled
• Manage billing functions, ensuring all charges are correctly applied
• Configure and send regular customer reports and updates
• Maintain organized records of customer communications and transactions
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve client issues
• Ensure accuracy and consistency in all data entry and reporting
• Support the logistics team with daily administrative tasks
• Deliver excellent customer service to strengthen client relationships

Job Requirements:

• MUST be bilingual (English AND Spanish)
• Previous experience in logistics customer service is required
• Proficient in email communication, billing systems, and report generation
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
