Mgr Applications Bus Analysis
Participates in developing and implementing strategy and policy of Utility business applications. Plan and manage resources, finances, scope and services within a functional area of business applications. Partners with IT functional and technical teams as well as operational teams to align technology choices and provide IT products, services and solutions on time, within budget and with the required functionality. Establish, maintain and enhance relationships with clients. Manage large-scale projects of high complexity, size and change management risk. Position may be required to work extended hours for coverage during storms or other energy delivery emergencies.
Primary Duties: PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES- Lead and manage Business Applications staff and resources in accordance with business plan. For projects: Plan and manage scope, schedule, and budget for defined deliverables in accordance with IT Governance standards. For operations application maintenance: Plan and manage to defined service level agreements at agreed upon budgets. (30%)
- Lead and manage projects and associated system integrators to deliver project of medium to high complexity. (15%)
- Maintain and enhance engagement with business, IT partners and other stakeholders. Provide key liaison partnership role between business and IT. Communicate status to key stakeholders on a regular basis. (15%)
- Operate utilizing standard processes as defined within the Management Model. Oversee process improvement efforts and ensure adoption of standard processes and procedures that deliver sustainable top quartile cost and performance levels. (15%)
- Maintain current business knowledge/acumen, including applications of technology solutions to deliver business results (10%)
- Evaluate performance and provide coaching for personnel. Participate in career development and succession planning processes. Promote diversity and foster teamwork, collaboration, and a learning organization. Provide input to development and retention processes for Business Application employees. (10%)

- Financial Scope:
- Direct impact on budget is substantial � This position has a direct impact on the Company's performance regarding several key indicators � operational costs, System Average Interruption Frequency Index (SAIFI), Customer Average Interruption Duration Index (CAIDI) and Customer Satisfaction. This position is also key to maintaining the company's image and good standing with customers, regulators, and shareholders in regards to anticipating, preparing, and responding to emergency events and incidents
- Contacts:
- This position requires interfacing with various levels of personnel in Regional Operations, Distribution Operations, Transmission Operations, Customer Operations, Corporate Security, Communications, Regulatory, Legal and Claims, as well as operational interfaces with governmental agencies, industry associations, municipalities, and other utilities.
- Leads internal and cross company teams responsible for process standardization and reporting. Supports participation in internal/external benchmarking and long term operational planning.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline and 7- 10 years of experience in business process, or in lieu of degree, 9-12 years of relevant professional experience.
- Appropriate business analysis and project management skills to execute Project Management and Governance.
- Strong knowledge of business practices and processes.
- Demonstrated experience leading and managing cross functional projects or sub teams and knowledge of IT Project Management.
- Experience leading and managing technical personnel.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to work with all levels of IT and business management and with vendors.
- Experience managing a budget for function area of responsibility.
- Graduate degree.
- Project Management certification.
- 3-5 years of supervisory experience.
- Annual salary will vary based on a candidate’s skills, qualifications, experience, and other factors: $120,800.00/Yr. – $166,100.00/Yr.
