Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and adaptable Office Assistant to join our client near Mount Holly, NJ. This contract-to-hire, onsite position plays a key role in supporting daily office operations through administrative, clerical, and light accounting responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be organized, tech-savvy, and eager to learn new systems and processes while wearing multiple hats in a dynamic environment.
Compensation:
• $20/hour
Work Schedule:
• Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Key Responsibilities of the Office Assistant:
• Answer incoming calls and route them to the appropriate department or contact
• Perform data entry and maintain accurate records
• Use Microsoft Word, Excel, and other basic office software for documentation and reporting
• Learn and assist with QuickBooks for basic accounting functions
• Provide general administrative support and assist with various office tasks as needed
Qualifications and Skills for the Office Assistant:
• 1–2 years of office or administrative experience
• Strong computer skills and the ability to quickly adapt to new systems and software
• Dependable and proactive
• Flexible and willing to handle a variety of responsibilities in a changing environment
• Easygoing and collaborative, comfortable working in a casual office setting
