Schedule

Day Shift: 4/10 hour shifts a week (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM).

Weekend On Call Requirement: One weekend on call a month, totaling 36 hours.

Job Description

The Orthopedic Surgical Nurse will provide care in the surgical setting for orthopedic spine, robots, and trauma patients. The role will require both scrubbing and circulating for surgeries.

Responsibilities

• Scrub and circulate during orthopedic surgical procedures.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout surgical interventions.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize expert knowledge in orthopedic spine, robots, and trauma surgery protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience in an orthopedic surgical setting.
• Current licensure in the State of New Jersey.
• American Heart Association BLS certification required.
• American Heart Association ACLS certification required.
• National certification in area of specialty preferred.
