IT Principal Architect - Cloud Solutions
- Architect and lead the enterprise observability strategy, including log aggregation, anomaly detection, and performance optimization across multi-cloud environments.
- Design and govern API integration frameworks to enable seamless interoperability between internal and external platforms.
- Translate complex business requirements into scalable, data-driven architectural solutions that support long-term growth and innovation.
- Influence and collaborate with executive leadership, product owners, and engineering teams to align technology roadmaps with strategic objectives.
- Lead innovation initiatives , including proof-of-concept development, emerging technology evaluations, and adoption strategies to improve our service offerings.
- Establish best practices for automation, monitoring, and DevOps across the organization, ensuring compliance, security, and operational excellence.
- 10-12 years of related experience required. - AWS and/or Azure Certification(s) desired • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. • 12+ years of progressive experience in IT architecture, cloud engineering, or enterprise systems design. • Deep expertise in observability platforms (e.g., Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, New Relic) and cloud-native monitoring and data solutions. • Advanced knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and experience architecting solutions in SaaS, IaaS, and PaaS models. • Proficient in modern programming and scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash, JavaScript frameworks). • Proven experience with infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD tools (Terraform, GitHub, Azure DevOps). • Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence technical and business stakeholders. • Demonstrated ability to lead in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Additionally, Maximus provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
