Title: Senior Litigation Attorney
Salary: $100k-$150k/yr
Required licensure: NY
Required exp: At least 2 yrs of general liability or Toxic Torts (asbestos) experience
Position OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in handling complex litigation cases, specifically in the areas of toxic torts and general liability. The Senior Litigation Attorney will play a critical role in managing high-stakes cases and providing strategic legal counsel to our clients. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage complex litigation cases from inception through trial and appeal.
- Develop case strategies, conduct legal research, and draft legal documentation including motions, briefs, and pleadings.
- Advise clients on legal rights and obligations, and represent them in negotiations and court proceedings.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals to ensure comprehensive legal support.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations relevant to litigation and general liability cases.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience, with a focus on toxic torts and general liability.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and resolving complex litigation cases.
- Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
