Fleet Mechanic

Fleet Mechanic. This role is crucial in maintaining the efficiency and reliability of our diverse fleet of FedEx branded vehicles, including Tractors, Straight, Box, and Vans.
Part time mechanic shifts available:
1. Saturday & Sunday 7am until 5pm2. Monday through Friday starting at approximately 8pm ( this is flexible)
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on a variety of vehicles to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues, providing effective solutions.
- Repair various systems including electrical, brake, hydraulic, suspension, A/C, and air brakes.
- Perform Road calls, as needed, to ensure fleet reliability.
- Perform daily, on-the-spot maintenance inspections prior to the vehicles leaving the terminal for the day.
- Manage your own time effectively to meet daily goals.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of practical related work experience in fleet maintenance or a similar role.
- Must pass a drug test to ensure safety and compliance.
- Valid driver's license in good standing to enable driving of serviced vehicles.
- Must pass a background check, no Felonies or Misdemeanors.
