Jet/ Vac Truck Assistant Operator

Drainbusters, Inc is seeking to fill several positions for a Vac Con / Jet Truck assistant technician

**VALID DRIVERS LICENSE REQUIRED**

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday and includes work on weekends, evenings, holidays - Flexibility is required as job duties demand.

Compensation/ Benefits:

• Pay is comparable with experience but higher than industry standard.

Duties include but are not limited to : working in and around sanitary and storm sewers. The technician must be able to work, as well as take direction from the vac con operator which may include:

• Pre trip inspection of vac con vehicle

• Equipment driving and operation throughout NJ/PA/NY

• Entry into manhole and underground structures

• Manual labor tasks (lifting, carrying, dragging or pulling material, etc.)

• Set up/ breakdown equipment (tubes, hoses)

• Use of hand tools/power tools/video equipment

• Pump watch and operation

• Completion of required paperwork

Skills required:

· Must understand and speak fluent English

· Preferred 1-3 years of experience as a vac con / jet truck assistant

· OSHA 10 and/or 30 OSHA and Confined Space training preferred

· Must also have the ability and/or willingness to learn and operate company equipment

· Ability to communicate effectively with customers / crew members including, both verbally and in writing

· Ability to think logically about work at hand and compare site conditions with project designs

· Must work in a manner that will not jeopardize the health and safety of him/herself, other employees or the general public

· Must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screen
