Account Executive

How you'll make an impact- Primarily accountable for retaining and expanding specific clients identified by local management, typically working on behalf of a Producer who developed a book of business that generates $1.5MM in annual revenue for Gallagher or more.
- Has both account management and production responsibilities--hybrid role. Has both renewal/retention and new business goals.
- Responsible for the combined functions of the development and successful acquisition on new business revenue from new and existing clients and providing a high level of client service to assigned accounts.
- Responsible for driving the overall client strategy in order to meet /exceed client expectations/growth goals and leveraging knowledge of the clients to manage this book of business, which includes renewals and growth of existing accounts.
- Additional duties include:
- Coordinating involvement of company personnel including service, loss control and local leadership to meet or exceed strategic objectives.
- Conducting Stewardship reviews.
- Developing/executing strategic plans that will achieve our clients' goals while contributing profitable growth for the company.
- Working closely with the service team to ensure both a timely resolution and satisfactory outcome to client issues.
Required: Bachelor's degree and 3 years related experience OR High School Diploma/GED and 8 years related experience required. License required.
Preferred: Professional designation such as Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) or Associate in Risk Management (ARM) preferred. Excellent sales capabilities; outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Behaviors: Position requires excellent communication skills.Compensation and benefits
We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
