Sales Support Specialist

Job Title: Junior Sales Engineer -- Steel Sales
Location: Sea Girt, New Jersey

Type: Contract To Hire
Compensation: $26.00 - $31.00 hourly
Contractor Work Model: Onsite work in either Sea Girt, NJ or Bridgewater, NJ is required 5 days per week. Remote or hybrid work is not available.
Hours: 7:00 AM 3:30 PM

Junior Sales Engineer Job Duties :

• Responsible for providing overall sales support to President, VP of Sales, and selected sales team members as well as the responsibility for assigned EKSP customer accounts.
• Provide sales support for President and VP of Sales, including creating reports and inventory lists, completing customer quotations, entering Job control Documents
• Regular communication with President and VP of Sales and assigned customer accounts
• Aid selected sales team members in areas of order entry, reports/lists, customer communication
• Assist with customer drawings of cut parts for steel plate processing quotations per customer drawings or customer approved EKSP drawing based on customer description.
• Communication with sales team leader and salespeople regarding customer drawings as needed.
• Ensure that all customer orders are given prompt attention and recognize the priorities to enable accurate scheduling consistent with customer demand, customer satisfaction, and EKSP objectives.
• Assist and participate in material sales.
• Other duties as assigned.

Junior Sales Engineer Requirements:

• Excellent oral and written communications skills
• Good problem-solving skills and strong initiative / “can do” attitude
• Good interpersonal skills, phone manners and the ability to work with others
• Good organizational, planning and time management skills
• Excellent computer skills, including comprehensive
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word.
• Ability to read and decipher blueprints, a plus
• Prior experience with DraftSight, and/or ProNest is a plus, but not required

Other Junior Sales Engineer Requirements:
Recent engineering graduates are encouraged to apply
or those with two (2) - three (3) years of realated sales experience with a construction or engineering firm
