Medical Office Receptionist (FT)
- Required to great visitors and deal with inquiries on the phone and in person.
- Supply information regarding the services of practice to the general public, clients and customers.
- Answer telephone, screen and direct calls, take and relay messages
- Ensures knowledge of staff movements in and out of organization
- General administrative and clerical support (prepare letters and documents)
- Receive and sort mail and deliveries
- Schedule appointments and maintain appointment diary either manually or electronically
- Organize meetings
- Tidy and maintain the reception area
- Log and collect copay and patient balances.
- Verify insurance benefits and assist with billing administrative duties
- Assist with medical assistant duties if/when needed
