Johnson Turbine Support is a small, family-run business that’s been operating for nearly 30 years. We specialize in gas turbine parts and services for power generation companies. Our team is small but experienced, and we take pride in running a hands-on, flexible, and reliable operation.
We’re looking for a dependable and organized Front Office Administrator to keep our Landing, NJ office running smoothly and support our operations coordinator with daily administrative tasks. This is an on-site position (not remote) starting at around 20–25 hours per week, with the potential to grow into full-time for the right person.
Responsibilities include:
• Answering and routing phone calls and emails
• Greeting and assisting visitors, drivers, and vendors
• Managing mail, filing, and shipping documents (digital and paper)
• Entering data, tracking numbers, and order updates
• Organizing office supplies, paperwork, and project files
• Maintaining task lists, calendars, and reminders
• Following up with vendors and customers as directed
• Supporting QuickBooks or Excel updates (training provided)
• Keeping the office area tidy and running smoothly
What we’re looking for:
• Prior office, administrative, or small business experience
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and organized
• Friendly, professional phone and in-person communication
• Comfortable with Outlook, Excel, and general computer skills
• Willingness to learn new systems and take initiative
• Authorized to work in the U.S. and has reliable transportation
Work Environment:
• On-site at our Landing, NJ office (not remote)
• Small, close-knit team – casual but professional
• Flexible daytime hours, between 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Part-time to start, with potential for full-time
Compensation:
$25–$32 per hour based on experience and reliability
