Shipping & Receiving

Location: Whippany,Nj

Pay: $18-20/Hour Based on Experience

Hours: Monday – Friday; M-F 9am -5pm,

Responsibilities:

• Will be moving several different types of material using an electric pallet jack.
• Shipping and Received duties
• Utilize Accelerator(software system); will be trained.
• Constant movement will be involved with this job

Shipping:

- Prepare items for shipment by packaging, weighing, and labelling them.

- Arrange for transportation and coordinate with carriers using our shipping program

- Inspect deliveries for accuracy and damage, verifying against purchase orders.

- Track, trace, and update the status of all incoming and outgoing shipments.

o Maintain accurate logs of inventory and record daily movements.

o Use computer systems to manage inventory

o Operate machinery such as forklifts and pallet jacks to move goods.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be computer literate as some data entry will be involved.
• Experience using a sit-down forklift and electric pallet jack is preferred
• Must be able to communicate in English fluently
• Must have previous Shipping & Receiving experience
