Job Summary:
We are seeking a professional, patient-focused Medical Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our busy chiropractic clinic. This role is critical in providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative functions including patient scheduling, insurance verification, and billing support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Coordination: Greet patients with a warm, professional demeanor, manage check-in/check-out processes, and oversee the daily patient flow to minimize wait times.
- Scheduling Excellence: Manage multi-provider digital calendars, schedule follow-up treatments, and perform proactive appointment reminder calls.
- Insurance & Billing: Verify insurance eligibility and benefits prior to visits, explain financial obligations to patients, and collect co-pays/outstanding balances.
- Administrative Support: Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR), handle multi-line phone systems, and manage patient intake documentation.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of prior experience in a medical or clinical office setting.
- Skills: Proficiency in medical office software (EHR/EMR),and strong multitasking abilities in high-volume environments.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a strong focus on "patient-first" customer service.
- Bilingual (Highly Preferred): Proficiency in both English and Spanish to assist our diverse patient population is a significant plus.
