About the role
The Associate Brand Manager (ABM) plays a key role in driving the growth of assigned brands within the Wellness category. This position resides within the US Marketing function reporting to the Medical Director and supports brand development through equity building, activation, and business initiatives. The ABM will contribute to shaping category strategy, ensuring excellent marketing execution, and achieving specific growth objectives. This role offers a dynamic opportunity to contribute to a leading brand's success while developing essential marketing and business management skills.
Your responsibilities
eCommerce Performance & Retail Media
- Own and activate day-to-day eCommerce performance (hands-on-keyboard) across key online retailers and marketplaces (e.g., Amazon, Walmart, Target, Instacart), with accountability for traffic, conversion, and sales KPIs
- Lead performance marketing execution, partnering with internal media teams to plan, execute, and optimize paid search, sponsored products, display, and other lower-funnel retail media investments
- Manage budgets and pacing across platforms to maximize ROI and capture high-intent demand during key retail moments
Digital Shelf & Conversion Optimization
- Optimize the digital shelf experience, ensuring best-in-class content across titles, bullets, imagery, A+ content, SEO, claims, reviews, and ratings
- Partner with Brand and Creative teams to translate brand strategy into compelling, conversion-driving commerce content
- Continuously identify and test conversion levers to improve discoverability, consideration, and purchase intent
Shopper Marketing & Activation
- Execute digital shopper activations, including online promotions strategy, sampling programs, bundles, subscriptions, loyalty offers, and seasonal events
- Collaborate with Sales and Retail Marketing to ensure cohesive shopper storytelling across digital touchpoints
Brand Integration & Growth Support
- Ensure brand consistency and equity are maintained across all commerce touchpoints while optimizing for performance
- Support innovation and portfolio priorities, ensuring launches are set up for success with strong content, visibility, and activation plans
- Bring a brand lens to performance data, balancing short-term efficiency with long-term brand growth
- Serve as a key connector between brand strategy and commerce execution, helping teams understand how shoppers behave in digital retail environments
Analytics, Insights & Optimization
- Analyze performance data across media, digital shelf, and shopper activations, translating dashboards and retailer analytics into clear insights and action plans
- Lead test-and-learn agendas across media, content, and promotions to continuously optimize performance
- Monitor competitive activity, category trends, and emerging commerce capabilities to identify opportunities to gain share
Core Skill Set & Capabilities
- Strong understanding of eCommerce fundamentals, including digital shelf optimization, conversion drivers, and retail media ecosystems
- Hands-on experience with performance marketing, particularly paid search and retailer media platforms (Amazon Ads, Walmart Connect, etc.)
- Solid grasp of shopper marketing principles and how to activate them in digital environments
- Analytical experience with the ability to translate data into insights and growth actions
- Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional partners without direct authority
- Comfortable operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with multiple stakeholders and priorities
- Ownership mindset, bias for action, and curiosity about digital shopper and consumer behavior

The experience we're looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, or a related field preferred
- 4–6 years of experience in eCommerce, performance marketing, digital commerce, or shopper marketing roles
- Experience working with major eCommerce retailers (Amazon, Walmart, Target, Instacart) and/or DTC platforms
- Familiarity with retail media platforms, analytics tools, and digital performance dashboards
- Prior exposure to brand marketing or integrated marketing teams is a strong plus

US salary ranges
USD $109,000.00- $163,000.00
US pay transparency
The base salary range for this role will vary based on experience in job and industry, training and education, skills relevant to the position, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to the base salary, the position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, which is subject to change each year.
