Our client, a leading global investment technology organization, is seeking a Director-Level Full Stack Software Engineer to join a highly visible team responsible for building next-generation applications that support complex investment, analytics, and portfolio workflows. This role is ideal for an engineer who thrives in an Agile environment, enjoys architecting scalable solutions, and is passionate about delivering exceptional user experiences.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and enhance custom UI components and full-stack features aligned with project requirements
- Work within modern AWS-based development environments, including CLI and sandbox/local setups
- Build high-quality front-end applications using React, TypeScript, and modern design systems
- Collaborate with Tech Leads, Product Owners, and Business Analysts to transform business needs into scalable, production-ready applications
- Balance multiple initiatives and workstreams in a fast-paced environment
- Research emerging technologies, build proofs of concept, and help guide architectural decisions

Deliver intuitive and elegant user interfaces using Material Design & MUI
- Participate in the creation of personas, user scenarios, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI mockups
- Ensure solutions meet business goals through user testing, performance validation, and continuous improvement
Requirements:
- 10+ years of full-stack development experience , ideally within high-scale or data-intensive environments
- Expert-level proficiency with React/Next.js, Node.js, TypeScript, and TurboRepo

Experience with GraphQL, REST APIs, and microservices
- Strong command of HTML, CSS, JavaScript , CSS Modules, Storybook, and modern component libraries (e.g., Radix UI)
- Hands-on experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, Graph DB, etc.)
- Strong experience with Docker and deploying applications in AWS cloud environments
- Solid understanding of UI/UX design principles and ability to collaborate with design teams

Proficiency with Git and enterprise version control workflows
- Experience implementing token-based authentication and modern security patterns

Background in building scalable, high-availability applications
- Experience writing unit, integration, and end-to-end tests across the full stack
- Familiarity with automated testing frameworks such as Cypress, Test containers, and Vitest
Preferred:
- Experience with Figma , ReactFlow, Redux, Jotai, and advanced design systems

Background in decomposing monoliths into microservices

Knowledge of authentication mechanisms and security best practices
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Jenkins, and enterprise DevOps pipelines

Experience working within the SAFe Agile methodology
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Economics, or a related field
- Experience using AI-assisted development workflows, including generating components from design systems
