Responsibilities

• Maintain the overall indoor and outdoor presentation of the community.

• Perform routine indoor maintenance tasks, including painting, carpentry, drywall repair, cleaning, light plumbing, basic electrical, flooring, and other work order–related activities.

• Prepare vacant units for new resident move-ins.

• Conduct outdoor grounds maintenance, including mowing, trimming, flower bed care, trash management, snow and ice removal, and salting as needed.

• Provide timely communication with team members to ensure prompt work order completion.

• Respond to emergency on-call duties on a rotating basis within 30 minutes of notification; may provide coverage for other properties as assigned.

• Adapt to shifting priorities to meet deadlines and project requirements.

• Work overtime as assigned.

• Perform work independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Demonstrate pride in delivering quality work and excellent resident service.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 2+ years of apartment or home repair/maintenance experience , including drywall, painting, light plumbing, basic electrical, flooring, and cleaning. (HVAC experience is a plus; training available.)

• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. occasionally and frequently carry up to 50 lbs.

• High School diploma or GED required.

• Basic computer skills for timekeeping, email, online training, and work order processing (training available if needed).

• Reliable transportation.

• Strong time management, problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills .

• Bilingual Spanish-speaking ability is a plus.
